Terms and Conditions
These terms are subject to the laws and exclusive jurisdiction
of the Island of Jersey, Channel Islands.
All purchases you make shall be deemed performed in Jersey. This site does not charge GST.
Jersey law shall govern all aspects of contractual agreement concerning purchases from this site.
Gwennie's Attic is a Jersey registered business.

Delivery to addresses in Jersey
For the purposes of this website, on checkout there is not a direct option for a local Jersey delivery (P&P),
just enter in UK and then the Jersey payment options along with UK ones will be shown.
Standard delivery on goods in stock, is approx 2 to 5 working days, though at busy times of the year
(Christmas, Bank Holidays etc) this delivery time may be subject to occassional fluctuation.
All postage on items is calculated by the weight, size of the article
and its packaging to make sure you recieve the item in its original condition.
If ordering in Jersey for a car delivery,
please make sure you give your full address and contact telephone number
and most convienient time to call as items will not be left on doorsteps
or with neighbours or in garages etc unless specifically notified.
Where deliveries are made and no one is there to receive goods
we reserve the right to charge any additional delivery costs.
Delivery within UK, non mainland UK, Scottish Islands and other Channel Islands
Standard delivery on goods in stock is approx 8-10 days,
exceptions being time of year(Christmas,Bank Holidays etc)
size & weight of items and your locality where you should allow up to 14 days.
If you wish Special Delivery/Recorded Delivery etc, please contact us before you purchase
the items through checkout and we will be able to email you back a quote for these services.

The customer accepts responsibility for all import duty /VAT that is payable
to the relevant authorities when goods are imported.
We will notify you of any additional carriage/shipping costs for you to agree before we dispatch goods to you.
For deliveries to non-mainland UK destinations e.g. Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight etc
we may have to notify you of further carriage charges,
or exceeding delivery parameters depending on items bought.
We will not dispatch goods until carriage costs have been agreed with you.
Delivery in Europe

Items lost in the post
Occassionally items do not reach their destination and are deemed to be 'lost in the post'. Proof of postage is always kept, but unless the item is sent by special delivery or recorded mail the chances of tracking it are slim. However after two weeks if the item has not been received by the customer and Gwennies Attic are happy that the loss is genuine, then we will replace the article at no extra cost.
If the article was the only one in stock, we will offer a credit to the amount paid on anything else in Gwennie's Attic.
Other useful facts
We cannot be held responsible for any further delivery or custom charges incurred once the goods have left us.
Any breakages/damage must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of goods. On delivery you should check packaging and your purchases and comment accordingly on any delivery note.
We have endeavoured and taken all reasonable care to make sure that the detail, descriptions,
product presentation and prices shown to you on the website are as accurate as possible.
However, image colour and quality seen on your monitor may vary depending on monitor capability or setting.
Products that are hand made or hand painted may vary slightly in size or colour from the image presented.
Please contact if you need clarification on any aspect about the products shown.
Refunds and returns
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Gwennie's Attic,
If you are not happy with them. We will send a returns form for you to complete
and enclose with the goods which should be returned as soon as possible.
We will not accept unwanted items back after 28 days of the date of dispatch.
If the goods are returned with returns form completed, original packaging
and items in perfect resalable condition we will give a full refund, excluding the delivery charge.
It is your responsibility to pay all postage costs for returns and
it is your responsibility for the item until we receive it.(Proof of postage or Recorded Delivery is recommended)
Faulty Goods
If an item is faulty please contact us as soon as you are aware so
that we can assist with a replacement or a refund can be issued once
the said good have been returned safely to us.
If the goods you receive are deemed to be faulty and were purchased
over 28 days ago we will not refund or replace these items.
Privacy Statement
Gwennie's Attic is committed to protecting your privacy.
We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully
in accordance with Data Protection legislation.
We collect information about you, firstly to process your order and secondly,
to provide you with the best possible service.
Your name, address, telephone numbers, e-mail address and Credit / Debit card details for payment
and information regarding the delivery of your goods is the type of information collected about you.
We will only disclose information about you to third parties for goods delivery purposes
and these third parties to treat your personal information as fully confidential.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
The personal information, which we hold, will be held securely in accordance with the law.
Communication by Internet e-mail however, cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure and you acknowledge
and accept the risk of data transmission between gwenniesattic.co.uk
and you being intercepted by unauthorised third parties.
Gwennie's Attic shall not be liable to you for any loss,
expense or damage incurred or suffered by you in connection with such interception.
Credit Card Security & Cheque payments
Credit card payment at gwenniesattic.co.uk is through Paypal,who with their industry leading fraud protection,
give you the piece of mind that your transactions are secure.
When a transaction takes place you are automatically re-routed to Paypal's secure website
and fill in the necessary details before being returned to us.
For cheque payments, please make them payable to "Gwennie's Attic" and send it along with a copy of your checkout page to

Please allow an extra 5 days for the cheque to be processed before your purchases will be sent out.
We reserve the right to cancel any order without notice.
Remittance terms
You must be eighteen years old to place an order with us on-line.
If under eighteen you should only use the site in conjunction with, and under the supervision of, a parent or guardian.
Your card will be debited with the full transaction value before the goods are despatched. Please note that if goods purchased does not exceed a total value of £15.00, they will not attract VAT when sent to the UK
Confirmation of despatch will be sent to you by email.
